Throughout February and March 2013 Simon Whetham will be carrying out various sonic and acoustic investigations at the Museum of the University of Antioquia, in Medellin, Colombia.
The project is the first collaboration between arts organisation Casa Tres Patios, the Museum and an invited artist.
This blog is a journal of the residency project, and will cover all aspects of the project, from working processes and investigations to thoughts and theories, as well as results of the experiments.
One main aim for the project is to develop new ways of presenting and processing or changing recorded sounds, without the use of a computer. And also to experiment with new methods that possibly will not work, or function as intended, but will lead to further ideas and experiments.
